The VFI-RT+ Uninterruptible Power Supplies are the benchmark in power
protection performance. True online double conversion technology
provides the highest degrees of power protection making the UPS
suitable for a wide variety of mission critical equipment and infrastructure.
The VFI-RT+ can be mounted in a 19” rack installation and occupies only
2U of rackspace. Alternatively, the unit can be vertically mounted with the
supplied support brackets.
The high output power factor of 0.9 removes the risk of overload on
power factor corrected loads. The high efficiency of the VFI-RT+ reduces
the need for additional cooling requirements, reducing operating costs
and can be set into even higher efficiency ECO mode operation if
required.
Additional battery packs can be added to extend runtime with the added
benefit of adjustable current high capacity chargers, allowing large battery strings to
be recharged in a timely fashion. These can be added at a later date as
and when required. Internal UPS batteries and those of matching cabinets
can be hot-swapped during the UPS life for ease of maintenance.
To improve reliability and protect against environmental contaminants
such as moisture and dust, the PCB boards have been conformally coated.
Full HID Compliant USB interface for connection directly to operating
system power management, with capability of SNMP / Relay for added
communication options.

Internal Batteries
These units contain internal batteries. Refer to datasheet for type and quantity.
High Capacity Charger
High Capacity Internal Charger for the quick and effective recharge of attached battery packs.
Emergency Power Off
Has an Emergency Power Off port to allow rapid shutdown of UPS in the event of an emergency.
HID Compliant
Human Interface Device USB Port. Attached computer can recognise UPS is attached and use operating system internal functions to act on UPS events without the need to install additional software.
IEC Connections
Input and Output receptacles are IEC. UPS rated at 3KVA will have IEC320 C19 outlets and C20 inlet. Below this is C13/C14. Refer to datasheet for type and quantity for each model.
Intelligent Slot
The unit contains an ″Intelligent Slot″ for the connection of either a relay card or a network SNMP card, but not both. The relay card allows the UPS to transmit status to a remote alarm panel or Building Management System, whereas the SNMP card allows monitoring of the UPS over a LAN or WAN network.
LCD Display
A comprehensive LCD not only displays UPS parameters but allows for UPS configuration and adjusting settings.
Load shed when on battery
Has the ability to Load Shed by switching off a bank of output sockets after a set time, allowing runtime to be extended for critical devices.
Rack/Tower Mountable
The unit can be fitted into a standard server 19inch rack, but also can be mounted vertically. Support brackets are provided to do this. Additional battery cabs are provided with support extenders.
Sine Wave Inverter
The unit inverter is sine wave for maximum application compatibility.
Hot Swap
The unit batteries are contained within a removable battery tray allowing the batteries to be exchanged simply and quickly and in many cases without having to power down the load.
Online Double Conversion
Online Double Conversion VFI (Voltage Frequency Independent) technology. Provides a fixed output voltage and frequency that can be adjusted and has no-break when changing between mains and battery operation.
