For UK mainland areas, we ship out on a next working day service. Smaller orders may be sent by Royal Mail. If we receive orders by 2pm, orders will be shipped that day. We will use your email address to allow the couriers to email you an hours delivery slot, to which you can opt to change if not convenient. If you provide us with a mobile telephone number, then this notification will also be by SMS text message.
Unless your address is outside the UK, or subject to a premium postcode area (See below) and your order is over the low order limit then shipping is at the great price of ZERO
If you need something in a hurry, then contact us for alternative shipping options such as AM, Pre 10am and Saturday deliveries. You can also collect from our Bicester warehouse with prior arrangement.
Let’s face it, shipping isn’t free, but we don’t want you to be blindsided by an unexpected shipping charge at the checkout, which is why shipping is included in our prices.
However there are limitations. For example if a single box is over the courier weight threshold, then we need to ship the consignment as freight. In which case we need to charge for this as it is substantially more expensive than a door to door courier. That said, we can get a lot more content on a pallet, so the price won’t increase if there are lots of boxes.
In addition, there are additional charges if the destination postcode is highlands or not mainland. This applies to Northern Ireland as well as all the outlying islands in the UK.
Our shipping-charge algorithm is clever but no infallible. If the order make-up is particularly complex you can ask us to quote a delivery charge and email a pro-forma.
We also can ship internationally, but please note that our rates are determined by single boxes. If we need to ship multiple boxes the rates will be higher. What this means is that we may not be able to offer you the rate you have ordered and we may need to charge you more. If this is the case we will let you know, at which point you can pay the difference or opt to cancel your order.
If no shipping option appears and the website asks you to change the address, this means that either we don’t ship to the destination country, or the weight is too much to ship. Again, you will need to contact us for a shipping quotation.
If you want to return a product then you have every right to do so under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
However, there are caveats. Your intention to return needs to be notified to us within 14 days from when you receive the goods, the boxes should be unopened and we should receive the goods back within 14 days of notification. We cannot accept returns for boxes that have been opened (this is because the majority of our products contain batteries, and we have no guarantee that the batteries have not been used).
We also cannot accept returns for systems that have been built to order, for example battery packs, or ordered on your behalf from a third party.
If the unit is faulty out of the box however, then have no fear, we will, using best endeavours, send a replacement to you and collect the faulty unit at the same time. We may need for you to purchase a replacement first (which will be refunded on return of the original unit). This applies to UK mainland orders only.
